Dragon’s Head Trophy Table Lamp • OOAK

Yes, this is a working, functional lamp! How cool right? The bulb hardware is at a 60° angle to look like a fireball coming out of the dragon’s mouth. The hardware goes through the entire head and neck to look like the head has been freshly decapitated/impaled.

This piece was first sculpted in late 2019, cast in early 2020, and then sat around unused until July 2023. It then took a couple weeks to create the piece as it is today.

LAMP FEATURES
• Gold-plated hardware
• Golden cord with a two-prong plug 🔌

• No lampshade harp, bulb is meant to be exposed to imitate a fire ball
• Bulb is included but you can use any color or any bulb you like best! Anything LED and below 100W recommended.

SCULPTURE FEATURES
• Casted in mask latex, filled with expanding foam
• Dark-cherry stained, wooden and felt base
• Sculpted tongue and teeth
• Mouth parts coated in resin for saliva effect

The bulb included is a 25W incandescent Westpointe party bulb in the color “Transparent Red”. This bulb is gorgeous but it gets very hot very fast!

All sculptures are completely handmade. The creatures themselves were sculpted (using WED clay), molded (using Ultracal), and cast by me using mask latex. Everything is flocked, punched, and or painted by hand and with an airbrush. Wood plaque was stained and finished by me. All creatures come with an adoption certificate.
