Girafficorn Wall Mount • OOAK

This piece started off as a complete accident when the expanding foam inside rose more than expected giving the unicorn a long neck. Instead of wasting all the extra foam, I decided to go along with it and create a unicorn-giraffe hybrid!

All sculptures are completely handmade. The creatures themselves were sculpted (using WED clay), molded (using Ultracal), and cast by me using mask latex. The horn is made out of casted plastic, the giraffe ossicone was created using modeling foam, and everything is flocked and painted by hand and with an airbrush. Wood plaque was stained and finished by me.

All creature plaques come with an adoption certificate and are adorned with saw-tooth hangers that allow the plaque to be hung from a wall by nails, screws, or thumbtacks.
